Welcome In, Get To Know Me!

I want to welcome you to A Time To Bloom!👋 My name is Traquiva, but you call me Tee. I am excited that you stopped by to hang out with me. You may be wondering who I am and what you can expect here. Well, I am delighted to share my world with you and answer those questions. I am a 27-year-old daughter, wife, and mommy. I reside in Florida, where we experience all four seasons within one week, if not within one day haha.😆 The unpredictable weather here has taught me to stay prepared. You might need a coat in the morning, but by lunchtime, you'll want to be at the beach with snacks and a cold drink.

I enjoy worshipping, cooking, and writing. I am very family-oriented and extremely organized. Bringing laughter and smiles to the many faces I see brings me great joy. When someone smiles at a song the Lord gives me to sing, an experience he wants me to share, or a silly joke I can't keep to myself, it fills me with happiness! My passion is to see everyone smiling and living in the light to reach their destiny.💡 I believe my desire for this is so strong because of my personal experience of struggling with depression and wasting my beautiful smile in the darkness.

That is part of how this blog started. "A Time To Bloom" was birthed from an encounter with Jesus and a flower. But not just any flower, my favorite flower, a sunflower. 🌻 That moment, my life changed forever, allowing me to smile so brightly that depression now has no power over me.

My wonderful husband Emory and I have been married for over two years, and we welcomed our first baby boy about ten months ago. 💙 Emory has supported me and my vision from the very beginning, even when it was just a mere thought in seed form. He listened to me for hours, brainstorming every idea until I saw the vision manifested in my hands. I am incredibly thankful to have him by my side. He is my invaluable rock of support. He is my number one supporter and has pushed me forward times when I wanted to stand still regarding this vision. I can not thank him enough.

Another person who I can not thank enough is my spiritual mother, Emily. I am incredibly grateful for her wisdom, practically and spiritually. She has been a guiding light in my writing journey, making it easier to express myself. Her writing classes encouraged me, and she remained on top of my grammatical structures and formats. Nothing gets past her eyes, literally lol. 🙈 She has imparted gems and shown such examples of how effortlessly it is to write.

I am also thankful for family, friends, and even strangers who have supported me in various ways.

My prayer, is that as you read my blogs, you identify areas of your life that need to bloom or re-bloom. May my struggles and experiences challenge you to take advantage and become a better you every day. Please hear my heart, wisdom, and transparency as I pour everything I have out to you. I dare not sit in silence, knowing I can help you bypass the hardships I faced. I am here for you. I am ready to see you, Bloom. See you on the next blog Wednesday!

You are a bloomer. Bloom baby bloom, with me, Tee. 😌
